Privacy notice
This notice explains what Robot Crew collects when you sign in, and why. Robot Crew is run by Makerman Services. Last updated: 3 November 2026.
Who we are and how to contact us
Makerman Services. Email: makermanservices@gmail.com.
What we collect
- From Google, when you choose "Continue with Google": your Google account ID, your email address, your name and your profile picture. We ask Google for the openid, email and profile scopes only. We don't get your password or anything else in your Google account.
- What you do in Robot Crew: the robots you claim and when, the name you sign them with, your free claims (daily, welcome and bonus), your token balance and history, robots you put on swap spots, and swap offers you send, accept or decline.
- If you buy tokens: the token pack, the amount, the date, whether the payment went through or was refunded or reversed, and that you confirmed you're 18 or older. Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: sign-in session data and basic server logs (such as IP address and time) kept by our hosting providers for security.
Why we collect it
To give you an account, tie your free claims and tokens to you so nobody else can spend them, record which robots you own, run swaps between people, keep the shared count of 1,000 accurate, and stop misuse. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.
What other people can see
Other collectors can see the name you sign your robots with, and robots you put on swap spots. They can't see your email address or your Google profile.
Email updates (optional)
If you tick the box "Email me Robot Crew updates from Makerman Services", we'll email you about new crew members, album tips and stories, about once a month. We use your Google first name to personalise these emails. The emails come from Makerman Services (makermanservices@gmail.com), and every one has an unsubscribe link. The box starts unticked, and you don't need it to sign in or play. You can withdraw anytime by unticking it in your album or by using the unsubscribe link. We keep a record of each choice: the wording you saw, whether you ticked it, and when.
Who we share it with
- Google, to sign you in.
- Supabase, which hosts our account database and sign-in service. Our data is stored in its Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region. Supabase is a US company and its staff or sub-processors may access data from overseas, including the United States.
- Render, which hosts the website (United States).
- Stripe, our payment processor, if you buy tokens. Stripe processes your payment and card details, and may store and process data in the United States and other countries.
- MailerLite, our email delivery provider, which sends update emails to people who have said yes. MailerLite may store data in the European Union and the United States.
Some of these providers may store or access your information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union.
If you don't give us this information
You can't sign in, claim robots or swap. You can still look at the robots without signing in.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, token history and offers within 30 days. Robots you claimed stay counted in the shared 1,000 (the count never resets), but they're no longer linked to you. Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires, even after your account is deleted.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct your information, or to delete your account, by emailing makermanservices@gmail.com. If you have a privacy complaint, email us first and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
